The HYPE webclipper is a complementary tool to the HYPE software. It is based on the login to the HYPE software.
In addition to the privacy policy of the HYPE software, which you can access via the HYPE software, we process your login data by providing this web clipper in the store in order to provide you with the webclipper.
If you share data with the help of the webclipper, you are responsible for data protection yourself. Furthermore, you only use the webclipper in accordance with legal requirements.

Duration of data storage: The data storage is based on the statutory retention periods. The deletion will take place at the latest with the deletion of the Webclipper app or the HYPE account.
Usage
When you access our app, you transmit data to our web server via your internet browser (for technical reasons). The following data is recorded during an ongoing connection for communication between your internet browser and our app server:
- Date and time of request
- Name of the requested file
- Access status (file transferred, file not found, etc.)
- Web browser and operating system used
- Full IP address of the requesting computer
- amount of data transferred.
For reasons of technical security, in particular, to defend against attempts to attack our server, we store this data for a short period of time. It is not possible for us to draw conclusions about individual persons on the basis of this data. After 30 days at the latest, the data is anonymized by shortening the IP address at the domain level, so that it is no longer possible to establish a reference to the individual user. In anonymized form, the data is also processed for statistical purposes; a comparison with other databases than mentioned here or a disclosure to third parties, even in excerpts, does not take place.
